Hello everyone! I've been plotting this fanfic since before I stopped writing fanfic, so I figured I might as well share my ideas with you lot. Have fun!
After four straight days of clouds, the sun was finally showing over the Vampire Inn. Victor certainly wasn’t complaining. He had grown used to the sunshine during his month long stay in Texas, working as a temporary guard at The Warehouse. His gray eyes scanned the parking lot as he slammed his car door shut. All the usual cars were in there usual spots, it was as if nothing had changed. Smiling broadly, he walking up the crumbling cement stairs and nodded at Ralf, the stone frog that acted as a doorman to the Inn. Ralf appeared to be asleep, but the door was open about an inch, so he just walked in.
“Victor! Welcome back!”
“Hey man! How are you doin’?”
“Ooo, Victor you’re so tan! What’s Texas like?”
The babble of many exited vampires filled the room almost instantaneously and he smiled, waving and greeting his friends. Moving quickly through the crowd, he walked up the stairs. About halfway from the top, a flurry of green fabric launched it’s self over the upper railing and fell a few feet before landing in front of him.
“Hallo, Eloise” The short, French vampire grinned and gave him a bear hug.
“It is good to see you again!”
“Same to you, shorty” she thumped him on the shoulder and smiled again, willing to let the degrading nickname slide just this once. Straightening her skirt, she led him up the stairs and chattered amiability about all that he had missed. Pausing only to make sure no one had messed with his room and to dump his suitcase on the bed, he continued onwards towards Bridget’s room. Eloise trailed behind him, hovering uncertainly. Victor knocked quietly and then barged right in, already smiling…
… at an empty room.
